Port Moresby: Waigani vs Boroko
Waigani puts you close to embassies and head offices. Boroko is cheaper and better if your meetings are spread across town. Both have mid-range guesthouses under PGK 500 per night with everything you actually need.
Lae: Top Town vs Eriku
Lae's business district sits in Top Town — stay within walking distance of the main banks and freight offices. Eriku offers cheaper stays but requires a driver to get to the CBD safely.
